WELCOME
The National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) is a non-profit, non-partisan tax exempt 501 (c)(3) organization. Its main objective is to promote the welfare and well being of Filipinos and Filipino Americans throughout the United States by fostering unity and empowerment. The Filipinos and Filipino Americans during the last 100 years have grown to over 2.5 million in America. It was many years of struggle and challenges, but Filipinos rose from humble beginnings and worked together to raise awareness about the important accomplishments in the field of politics, community service, industry, culture and many others. These achievements and successes have earned the Filipinos a rightful place in society.
NATIONAL EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE
The 8th Annual National Empowerment Conference presented by Smart Communications brings together Filipino and Filipino American community leaders, advocates and innovators of all ages to assess the current status of the Filipino community. We shall move forward to the 21st Century with more vigor and solid presence to ensure the growth and improvement of our communities in the decades to come. With the new global economic changes, the future generation will be faced with more powerful challenges in America. We are prepared. Our leaders are dynamic and committed.

The Conference is expected to attract up to 1,000 Filipino community and business leaders, opinion shapers and prominent government officials from and throughout the nation. The three-day event will focus on the development of key strategies to address the political, social, health, educational, and economic concerns affecting the Filipino American community.
